A self taught artist from the UK, Kate finds her inspiration from nature, particularly animals. She creates beautiful expressive pieces that will put a smile on your face.
Her paintings capture the character of each animal bringing them to life, whether they are a family pet or from her imagination.
“In 2020 I started on a new and exciting path and am loving every minute of it. I like to think that my style is evolving with each new piece. I love to paint loose, expressive watercolours, which is an exciting medium. I love the way that it is so unpredictable. There are a number of artists that I have taken inspiration from. Liz Chaderton and Sarah Stokes are just 2 of them and I have taken a number of their courses, which has helped me with developing that style and learn techniques to create my pieces.”
